Deze nieuwe explosieveilige camera ( iCAM500/ Intrinsically Safe Digital Camera) is 's werelds kleinste digitale explosieveilige camera voor Ex Zone 1 en Ex Zone 2. Deze explosieveilige ATEX digitale camera is zo klein en licht dat u hem gewoon in uw broekzak kunt steken.

De resolutie van deze explosieveilige camera iCAM500 is 2 Mega-Pixel, wat kwalitatief beter is dan 1 van uw 19” TFT schermen. Verder maakt deze explosieveilige camera ( iCAM500/ Intrinsically Safe Digital Camera) gebruikt van optische in plaats van acoustische indicatoren, waardoor deze explosieveilige camera ( iCAM500/ Intrinsically Safe Digital Camera) ook nog eens bruikbaar is in luidruchtige industrieele omgevingen.
