The Getac V100 ruggedized notebook has a 10.4" or a 12.1" LCD display, which is able to rotate 180 degrees to transform this ruggedized notebook into a Tablet PC. The Getac V100 notebook has a lightweight design, a tough magnesium alloy case and a removable hard drive that is protected against damage during operation. The Getact V100 notebook has a low power consumption thanks to the Ultra Low Voltage Intel® Core™ Duo processor, which allows a quiet, fan-less design. The Getac V100 is a member of GETAC's fully ruggedized family. The Getac V100 was tested in compliance with MIL-STD 810F and is sealed to IP54 standards, shielding the computer from unexpected spills and sprays.

The removable HDD bay of the Getac V100 allows users to easily remove the HDD, giving users a lot of of advantages such as, allowing multiple users to share the Getac V100 with their own personal HDD.

In short the Getac V100 is a powerful ruggedized Notebook/ Tablet computer. It features a bright 10.4” TFT XGA or 12.1" WXGA LCD screen with 128MB of shared RAM that provides vibrant images whether indoors or outdoors. For direct sunlight applications, an optional outdoor viewable display is available Getac V100. A touch screen option is also available (for the Getac V100) for the on-the-go/in-vehicle users. Behind the display is the latest Intel Core Duo ULV processor for true speed and wireless portability. In short the Getac V100 is a all-you-need rugged notebook.
